MKPL Managing Director, Imbi Medri, has played a lead role in the design of facilities for business and non-profits.
Her work has included turning a century old building into a state-of-the-art post-production facility. She has also consulted on facility design for numerous non-profits in the U.S., U.K., Africa and Canada.
One of her brilliant design solutions was for a 12th Century heritage church property in the U.K. This building housed a growing congregation – but the church’s large columns effectively separated the congregation into four – impeding their gathering. Using technology, Imbi effectively made the columns “disappear.”
Below is a montage of shots of 259 Danforth Ave – Imbi’s design is still fresh, 19 years later.
